It’s been a tough year and more. We missed the usual Cotswold Way Relay BBQ in 2020, we missed the usual club photo, we even missed our Juniors Athletics competition. So, we’re determined not to continue to miss out.
Please join us if you can for some social running, cycling and/or some good old fun athletics (track running, javelin, high jump and more). All abilities welcome, and all ages welcome to take part in the athletics events. If you really want to challenge yourself then a 52k run is on offer, or you could enter multiple events.
Regardless of whether you sign up for an event or not all club members are also invited to join us for a club photo shoot and barbeque; OK so we’re going to have to take photos in groups of 30, maybe some aerial shots, but we will make it look great (wear your club colours if possible for our ‘sea of blue’). The bar will also be open so come join us, catch up with people, celebrate what we have achieved.

Caroline & the DRC Committee & 10th July Event Organisers 🙂
This is our annual competition event for just DRC Juniors, we give all of our juniors the chance to put into practice all that training. There will not be a 09.30-10.30 training session on Saturday 10th July, instead we invite you to this event 13.00-16:00. Following the competitive event we have a club photo planned – it would be great to get more Juniors into this. We will also present medals and awards recognising the whole year’s achievements. And then if that’s not enough there will be a BBQ to finish.
The Mindful Mile is still on at 09.00. And if the adults want to try their hand at athletics they are more than welcome to have a go too.
For this event to be a success I really need people to complete our online forms as soon as possible, so that we can cater for the numbers required.
I will need plenty of time keepers and measurers during the event too so any parents/observers present please let me know if you can help with that too. A massive thank you for all the support. If anyone has problems with the electronic forms then please email me, and/or I will bring along some paper versions of the forms on Weds/Thurs.
