As a club we want to support our local community. Each year our members nominate a charity and funds are raised and a proportion of our income is shared with that charity.
The 2023-2024 charities as voted for at the AGM are Longfield Hospice (Longfield Hospice – Community Hospice Care: Home) and Read with Me (Home – Read With Me).
In 2022-2023 Dursley Running Club supported two local charities – Catch a Smile (Catch a smile – For families and people with disabilities & special needs enjoy fishing.) and GL11 (GL11), both received a cheque for £536.00
The 2021-2022 charity was The Willow Trust – DRC raised £963.00 for the charity.
In 2020-2021 we raised £1,244 for Hope for Tomorrow and £3,433 raised for Maggies.
