DRC Winter Gala Dinner

Saturday 25th November 2023 at 19.00  at Dursley Running Club 

Come and join us for our annual Dinner, celebrating another year of DRC.  All are welcome, including partners / relatives.

This year’s Gala includes a three course sit down dinner followed by a DJ on the dance floor until Midnight.  The cost of the evening is £30 per head.

Dress as you wish – DJ’s and Dresses or Casual – it is up to you – it is your night.

Glos Cross Country Races

Gloucestershire Amateur Athletic Association (GAAA) organise a 4 races series. Link to GAAA Cross Country web site << here >>. Early bird team entries are once again available, as well as normal 4 race series entry and individual round entry. The dates are as follows.

Cirencester Park Saturday 4th November,

Bath University Sunday 10th December ( County Championship ),

Cotswold Farm Park Saturday 6th January

Pitville Park Saturday 17th February

We can get a club team discount entry for the whole series. Prices are £ 25 per senior/ Master entry and £12 per junior entry plus a 25% discount for every full series entry. Anyone wanting to do this needs to send contact Jonathan Tudor, our Cross Country Captain, by e-mailing ‘DursleyRunningClub@gmail.com‘ or Facebook messenger with the following details:

Name, EA URN, DOB, Championship Eligibility, Address, Post code, email and emergency contact name and number.

Jonathan has set a DEADLINE OF SUNDAY THE 15TH OF OCTOBER. Anyone wanting to enter after this date will have to go through ENTRY CENTRAL without the club discount, see link at the top of the post.

Dursley Running Club AGM 

Friday 6th October 2023 at 7pm at the Clubhouse.

The AGM will take place at the running club and we would like you all to join us, it is an interesting evening which will include updates from Seniors, Juniors and the Tri section, as well as an update on future plans.  The evening will also include the results from club nominations and the winners of each award, the club charity for 23/24 and the winner of the Dursley Dozen slogan competition. 

The bar will be open so you can have a drink in hand whilst you are listening.  It is your club so please be part of all aspects of it, your opinion and involvement is not only greatly appreciated but also very much needed for the club to carry on being the wonderful club it has been since it started.
