On the 9th July the DRC Junior Section held a Track and Field Championship event. Entrants ranged from 7 years old to… well let’s just say adults. It was a beautiful day and participants took part in a variety of running, throwing and jumping events. A BBQ kept athletes and spectators alike well fed. There were many great performances and the award ceremony at the end of the day saw all juniors win at least one medal.
